I am an aspiring Cybersecurity Analyst with a strong interest in SOC operations, cloud security, and identity and access management. I have built a solid foundation in network security, threat analysis, and incident response through hands-on projects using tools such as Wireshark, ELK Stack, and Python. I hold the Google Cybersecurity Certificate and CompTIA Security+.
I am currently working as an IT Asset Security & Solutions Representative at Alta-E Solutions, where I combine IT sales, client communication, and secure asset lifecycle support. In this role, I help identify client needs, generate and qualify leads, and position secure IT asset disposition solutions aligned with data destruction and compliance standards such as NIST 800-88.
This experience has strengthened my understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, secure handling of data-bearing devices, and the business side of cybersecurity. I am passionate about protecting organizations from risk and continuing to grow in security operations, threat detection, and compliance-focused environments.
• Completed an intensive 3-month cybersecurity program sponsored by the Government of Canada in partnership with IBM.
• Gained hands-on experience with SOC operations, SIEM monitoring, threat detection, log analysis, and incident response.
• Developed foundational skills in network monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and attack simulation.
• Generate and qualify leads through outbound outreach (60+ daily calls) targeting IT managers and business stakeholders.
• Identify security risks related to improper IT asset disposal and position compliant solutions aligned with NIST 800-88 data destruction standards.
• Work with enterprise IT equipment including servers, workstations, and networking hardware, gaining exposure to real-world IT infrastructure.
• Support secure IT asset lifecycle processes including intake, tracking, data sanitization, and chain-of-custody documentation.
• Communicate technical concepts (data destruction, compliance, infrastructure risk) to non-technical clients to drive business decisions.

My Cybersecurity Work
A Python tool using Scapy to capture and analyze network traffic, detecting malicious IPs and suspicious ports. Features real-time logging and threat detection.
Simulated RDP brute-force attack detection using ELK Stack. Configured Winlogbeat to forward Windows Event ID 4625 logs to Kibana for visualization and alerting.
Geolocation visualization of network traffic using Wireshark captures converted to KML for Google Earth mapping.
Hands-on Active Directory lab simulating a Windows enterprise network. Includes domain controller, group policy setup, user and permissions management, and workstation integration.
